That second Bowie song has been one of my favorite songs since I saw the part, and it still is today. One of the most well-edited parts of all time? I think so.
It's a shame that Flip has become what it is now.
What's wrong with Flip now? David Gonzales, Appleyard, and Rowley are killing it. Those P2 boards are actually awesome. They offer more sizes than any other company on NHS, and their one-offs are pretty unique.
Where is the shame? So Arto left, and...
@Croupier: Appleyard is off Flip.And with their whole new claymation program they seem to be tending a little bit to the Flame boy/Wet Willy World Industries era.
Their flat shapes don't work for me anyway...

I can vaguely remember the first time I heard about him... Moses had gone to Platinum from MC and had a "get happy" board. Not sure if it was the Finnish connection but next thing you knew, there was this new Finnish super am on Platinum.
He was always on some long ass banister sliding shit. Glad he went to Alien. Flip is a shell of its former self. The jumping ship of two of their best (Arto and Appleyard) doesn't help. Neither does the falling off of Penny.
I used to love the bubble gum arto boards. perfect shape. Flip should be ashamed of themselves.
At least Flip's still got Lance! He's killing it harder than any other skater in their mid 40s I can think of off the top of my head.
Alien seems like a better fit for Arto anyway - at least in terms of image. Not saying that's what skateboarding is all about, even though these days it unfortunately kind of is...

There are also lots of people that would say Alien is lame now because of Burton. Regardless, the stuff under the DNA umbrella is still my favourite shit to ride. There's varying degrees of falling off and/or selling out, I suppose.
Arto in Sorry is in my top 5 parts in history. The way he does almost every trick regular and switch is so amazing.
