the options to choose from were pretty slim on this one but i really just wanted to have an ortega post on here. for those not familiar, dude was a top am for h-street back in the day until a knee injury (i think) took him out of the game. damn shame, too...
the 360 kickflip up top was literally the next page after j. lee's sequence of the same trick... the first time (i know of) any non-rodney, street-oriented tre flips featured in a magazine. one dude's a household name, the other dude's literally in the poorhouse. go figure.
and since we're kind of on the subject, does anyone else find hokus pokus to be horribly-neglected and underrated these days, especially when considering how important and amazing it really was/is?
