chrome ball incident #692: bring the pain
"Just skate and have fun... Oh yeah, and everyone can slow down on the ollie grabs on street."
Pretty damn hard to think of any other pro having half the swagger Reemo did.
Miss seeing this dude skate.

chrome ball incident #532: if i ruled the world

so good to see Reemo popping up in the mix as of late...
after rewatching some of these classic parts, its actually kind of hard to believe that he could have ever really went away, ya know?.
...and you know he's still got it if he wanted to.
alright guys, no post tomorrow as I'm behind on stuff and I still have to transcribe and edit Friday's interview... but i think you'll dig what's coming up.

chrome ball incident #329: modern man's hustle

from leaving the scene after blue's demise in search of tax-free loot to making a comeback and giving way to a striking percentage of today's big name pros, kareem campbell's massive pop and unmistakeable style inspired heads to check their beepers mid-line for the better part of the 90's.and that ghetto bird sequence is ridiculous.

chrome ball incident #320: rough draft

a minor footnote in the history books that has been seemingly washed away over time... the brad dorfman-backed original incarnation of what would later be known as stereo, this is blue.i find it interesting that the vision honcho had the basic elements of two* of skateboarding's more-enduring companies in the summer of '92 and managed to drive them both into the ground in little over 6 months.
*(the other brand being TV, essentially an earlier version of Toy Machine with Ed and Mike V)
That Cales sequence in the blue ad up top was a little rough so I decided to include a second bs heel for your viewing pleasure. You're welcome.
