chrome ball incident #658: dead by tonight

"Everthing is a joke. It's all funny. Why get mad?"

OG goofball Circle-F ripper who must spend most of his time these days bumming out kids because he doesn't film the Baker team, Josh Beagle.

This dude always looked like he was having the best time.

And that wallie photo up top still kills...

Thanks everybody.

The one and only Beagle in my book. Josh helped hook me up back in the day and I always enjoy watching his parts, looks like he was having so much fun!

That first photo is a man-sized wallie.

I remember first seeing him in the Magic F video. Super long part! iirc It was the first Foundation video after they left World. Didn't know what to expect because Glam Boys on Wheels was a real let down (our local shop thought they were getting the Blind video). Josh Beagle always had an odd straight leg style to me but he sure did some cool stuff back in the day... also Barbarians at the Gate!

Beagle is the best. Also, watching his footage to those old foundation videos made me realize you don't have a post about Paul Sharpe, whatever happened to that dude? He was a ripper.

This guy basically raised HEATH and probably did as many handrail firsts too.

Rolling Thunder was one of the first videos I ever got and Beagle was a standout in an overall stacked video (Will Taylor exception? Don't know). I liked the looseness of his skating and the lack of generational trick divide. Handrail innovator for sure.

Re: Paul Sharpe, recently was the Enjoi TM and even more recently was/is the recently departed Etnies TM. I think he's landed another industry job, can't remember what though.

He did a backside 180 fakie manual 360 flip out way back when in his pro spotlight.

That was way ahead of it's time.

Platinumseagulls, you are the man, thanks for answering my question!

Hey Platinum, Will Taylors part was one of the better parts in the video

Definitely a top guy of the mid-nineties who always looked great in photos.

P.S. - Paul Sharpe appears in Thrasher KOTR 2010 as Etnies TM.

Stoked on this. To me Beagle, Hirata, and little Kirchart= Foundation. After Rolling Thunder it just seemed like a totally different company. When a Tum Yeto tour rolled through our area back in 93-94 a girl I knew got his number. I didn't believe her so I called it. A complete stranger called him at home in the middle of the night but he chatted for a while anyway. It was really fkn bizarre now that I think back on it.
To echo some of the others here; Will Taylor and Paul Sharpe were ace! Anyone remember all that POOT! shit back in the day?

Yes, awesome post!

I remember when Foundation came through Blaine in 1994(?). The only spot the shop had set up for them was at a random parking lot with a manual pad. Beagle skated it the entire time, with a huge smile on his face. Can't say the same for Berra, who freaked out and sat in the van most of the time. Leigh Peterson killed it too.
