chrome ball incident #540: chromium

"In 10 years, I'll probably either be dead or in a wheelchair. I'm not trying to sound tough; I've just come to terms with my stupidity." -Cancer Dan.

That Hubba nosegrind flick is out of control. 1994.

In other news, curious what your thoughts are on this.

Big up to my man Rob.

...and in honor of post #540:

Post #540 Damn that's hard work. Respect is massive!

Let's make it 720 and celebrate with some gift from all the readers, just get a P.O box, you will get lots of goodies I'm sure( skaterelated ofcourse).

Cancer Dan, his part in "Think's Dedication" is also nuts.

So stoked on Elwood at the moment. They got them all, Alvarez, Drehoble, Anderson, Pops and I read on trafficskateboards.com that they send stuff to Ricky Oyola!

The greatest boardgraphic of all time is a real mindfucker, but I guess I have to go with the Evan Hecox Ginos Ginger Ale bottle, since I got it on my arm.

Congrats on #540, treat yourself to a Rudy Johnson Blind 40ounce bottle or board!

540. That's a lot of posts E. dang.

Drehobl's skate anatomy is super harsh. Dude is sick as fuck and always has been. I think he had a few Hubba tricks in a 411 chaos... iirc, the one with Gangstarr Code of the Streets. Daher was in it as well.

The 50 graphics thing is weak imo.

As I was scrolling down all I could think was why is this not a McGill post or at least a post of a bunch of McTwist photos. Then I got to McGill at the end.

Always enjoy watching Drehobl skate. Looking forward to the Krooked video.

Complex is all about pageviews and showing you as many ads as possible per story. They make these lists all the time to get you to click on 10, 20, 50 pages. It's all about the money. I clicked on #1 and left. Who cares. I have the Cliver books.

That Hubba picture is incredible. I also enjoy the 50 skate deck article. I wish I would have kept some of those everslick decks from back in the day. My friend had a pepe martinez capital board, I think it was pep or andy stone. A lot of rad decks passed through. Cool article though.

The Frontside ollie to the vert wall is at slot machine in Grimsby, Canada. I can see some local homies up in there, what up Cormier, What up Mike Smith!
the owner of the park went to jail for attempted murder.
Great post!

the cigarette smoking man is rad!

It's too hard to pick 50 boards from the 90's, there's too many decks. They could do the 80's for sure.
It seems as though they picked the best pros from the 90's and then picked 1 or 2 of their 500 different graphics from that decade.....
And how could they leave out the burger king board?

hey olof, are you the same dude that's been having a nervous breakdown over at quartersnacks?

Serious, Chops, get a P.O. Box going.

not my cup of tea on those 50 board graphics but tough to come up with a list. Everybody has their favorite riders, shapes, graphics and companies! Happy McTwist

Yes Sir, that's me!
Tried co comment before I got to bed but something happened.
I'm not having a nervous breakdown, i promise. If the spelling is wrong in some of the posts, it's just because I try to type fast and keep my temper a the same time.
Was not out to start fighting with anyone, just think that some storestaff in NYC treated me like I was an idiot (maybe theyr'e right), when I did nothing what so ever to upset them.
Thing's got out of hand over at quartersnacks.com and my final comments got deleted so, I guess I'm over it,but I obviously hurt some people's feeling,. How about you Mr Anonomous, are you over it?

The only reason I liked the Complex list is because I owned #1Wouldn't have ridden it at the Harlem banks but dang I sure loved that board.

if you actually read the descriptions he gets a bunch of things wrong...

like *outkasts* royal flush…riiight.

also I find it strange that complex believes a top 50 skateboards list should be in their mag and on their website. since when have they been a purveyor of skateboard media? i guess skating has really hit the big time now huh?
