Good post. Saw MJ back in 97 on the Munster Monster Mastership. He was so ill, sw fs 360 flip on command and so solid. Met him during the Cup when he was skating in the streets. Nice guy and so far ahead of the time back then. Good memories

OK, what's the deal with MJ? At the end of his profile in 411 Issue 20, he's rambling about "I know where to find me, but they don't know where to find me." I had read that dude ran away from his home in Winston-Salem, NC to move to Cali. Is this what he's talking about?

Dude's a wiz on a board but in his interviews, he comes across as a tad, I wanna say weird, maybe eccentric is better.

I've always been a fan of his skating since those Maple commercials in 411vm.
