I used to be so psyched on Stevie. Haven't really been paying attention much lately, but I used to have his part in the Reason on steady repeat. Dude had some crazy good lines at Love.
Sw/crooks cover is off the chain. General Esteban throws it down. Saw that latest ad for DGK w/the hardflip front nose on that chest high ledge and said, "oh my, my, my, this dude is comin in hot on this one!"
ahh made my day!! Stevies amazing and so is chromeball, you must have 10 billion magazines. Thanks for this dopeness of Stevie. Sw pop shuv nosegrind revert is classicly dope. All photos are full of style and pop. He seems like the rap game of skateboarding. Nothing to millions.
Funny how when he was like 15 or so in High School he was talking about the DGK...I hope he's making STOOPIT money with his DGK these days, he deserves it...
stevie would steal dudes boards right out of their hand, then make dudes pay $20 to get it back. or he would sell their board to someone else right in front of them. he was a dick to alot of people. glad he grew up. he almost did a nollie heel 270 switch back tail

I think his best line was, "I came to SF with $20 in my pocket, and I made it..." Or something like that...
The switch krooks is one of the best covers ever...

BTW, nice selection on the title Chops. His part in the Chocolate Tour set to the Big L instrumental was perfect.
always loved that portrait where you can see the photogs reflection. o'meally?
I think it's crazy that he only got a TWS check out in 99, 6 years after the Element video...
I'm almost sure that portrait is by Blabac.

The tongues on those half cabs in the am jam. Crazy! Never rocked that style but lots of lemming in my town did. LOL
It's amazing how much pop he has to get into some of those high ledges/bars... and switch a lot of the time.
That 2nd last photo... I didn't remember DGK starting before he was done with DC.
If I'm not mistaken he had a trick tip in Transworld for 360 flips ages ago..like 90 or 91. Back when he was still "Lil'" Stevie.
Am Jam days = stick up kid. Loved that brief period when he skated for Choco. Choice selection of flix.

anybody got any stories about meeting stevie or seeing him skate in person?
his hardflip front nose in the new mag was a surprise. he still got it like that.
Philly D is endless quotable. Backing that dude 100%.
The portrait was O'Meally.
Keith, I rocked them. Guilty. And I thought the same thing about Reebok/DC but I guess we were wrong.
Gabe, don't know that one. Sorry man.
Thanks guys

The s/s heel in the Choco commercial is insane. I could watch that clip a million times and still be amazed.
