chrome ball incident #162: making flippy floppy

"Most of the young skaters don't know what Vision Street Wear was all about. I'm not sure but I think it had something to do with seduction." -Gonz

and thanks to my man Bryan and the Stereo Sound Agency for their continued support of this thing. bye.

wonder if I could run a dna scan on the hair follicle of the paris photo. Gonz post feels somehow long overdue. Brilliance...

haha, sorry about that homie. kinda gross actually. taken care of.

yeah, i've had gonz on here a few times but not to this degree. my favorite shit with him and natas is incident #2.

speaking of gonz and natas...

i was in max fish (bar in ny) a while ago and gonz and his woman were in there getting drinks. max fish was/is the "skate" bar of ny so pros from all over go there when in town...

anyway, there was a total natas look-a-like in there and gonz was TRIPPIN. and when he started talking to this look-a-like dude, they were right next to me. gonz, who i had never spoken to before in my life, turns to me and goes "this guy looks like my good friend natas" and i just looked at him and was like - ok mark gonzales is talking to me and he's talking to me about natas kaupas, what the fuck????

so i basically just said "yeah, he looks just like him" but i'm not sure gonz even knew if i knew who natas was. gonz was wasted and continued talking to this dude, despite the dude having no idea who natas was...it was kind of surreal.

Vision Blur Swirls in the 2nd pic. Sick!

That fs shov in the 4th pic wass straight up huge for that time.

I had 3 Vision boards in a row when I first started skating and I never had a Gonz 8( Not sure why I had so many Vision boards. They wore out super fast (and when you're just learning to ollie, it's not like you're doing tonnes of awesome tricks) so I switched over to riding Schmitt.

ae... that Gonz/look-a-like Natas story in the NY bar is awesome. Thanks for sharing.

He might not have been drunk, actually. That sounds like a typical Gonz encounter.
