#788: let's cut the crap and make out

This is a story of random violence and good times.

Can't lie... I totally thought Jerry and Ethan Fowler were brothers back in the day. I can't be the only one.

And for those paying too close of attention: yes, I did fuck up the title of that last Alan Petersen post by incorrectly referencing this interview instead.

In other news, my man Isaac over at the chalker chronicles sent over a link to all this stuff that his buddy Zeke filmed in SF during the mid-90's. super sick.

Thanks for all the comments and links this week everyone.

Funny but I was thinking about it and how Toy Machine Ethan would have fit in with the current Toy lineup. Guy ripped but seemed like he switched sponsors too much to get super solid coverage. He had such a smooth style though.

His Tincan Folklore is one of my all time favorites, but after that it seemed, at least to me, that he lost that flow he used to have.

I remember a great picture of him in TWS doing a miller flip in some Europe article wearing a faded yellow Miller highlife shirt.

And yeah, I totally thought he and Jerry Fowler were brothers!

I thought they were brothers as well. We didn't have the internet to dispel such thoughts only magazines, 411VMs, and CCS'.

Looking back, it does seem like he went through quite a few board sponsors. His Visual Sound part was so awesome.

Is there footage of that bs flip over the gonz anywhere?

Is Bummer High still around? I've never seen their boards anywhere.

Was just watching tincan and discussing this dude at a friends house. Yeah he was some kind of super style kid in those stereo days. But I think his nervous breakdown and art bars parts are classic as well. And he even still has it in that's life and everything after, just older.
