Don't forget that ridiculously lofty back 360 he did in Thrasher:

His last part was totally awesome...and you gotta love that it had the Morrisey's Speedway song on it. Such a classic!

Speedway was an amazing song choice, went so well with the part. "All of the rumours...", very appropriate for a mysterious character such as Heath. Love the caption for this post too, that Shinda Shima song was so eerie yet so fitting for that part, and the Moddy Blues in Sight Unseen, Queen/Bowie in The End. Typing this now is making me realize Heath has always had great song choices for parts

I totally agree with you dude, he always had great song choices, I mean Under Pressure for The End, It still gives me chills! and of course Speedway for the Alien vide, very appropriate for his last ever part. Enough said!

thank you for starting my work week off with some kirchart. i watched the foundation videos a lot as a kid, as well as 'barbarians at the gate'... sure, it didn't have a lot of skating, but as a kid i think i was way into the lifestyle of pros and idolizing them as much as i was into the tricks they were doing.

and thank you ODB for that link to the back 360 gif. mind-fucking-blowing.

thanks guys.

good lookin' on the link, odb

anon, i love his mindfield part but you can't sleep on that stay gold stuff. I love that the attempts are in there. really makes you appreciate everything that much more.

but yeah, speedway is the perfect song for that part.

thanks wheatley and few of the other commenters present here that I noticed had picked up a board. both shapes are sick but the shape on that cruiser is especially bonkers.

Got my board in the mail yesterday morning. Stoked!

What is the "Shinda shima" reference from? Curious because it could mean "dead island" in Japanese.

I love the Stay Gold b-sides. I honestly enjoyed those parts more than the actual video.

Can never go wrong with some Kirchart. All of his parts are epic but my favorite Heath part is in Foundation's Super Conductor Super Collider from '93. It's a hard one to find but the skating's sick and the song's awesome!

Got my CBI cruiser shape in the mail and its sick!! It's gonna be a wall weapon for me though. The shape looks so fun to ride, but I just can't bring myself to fuck it up! A big thanks to Scumco And Sons and CBI!!

glad you guys dig the boards.

liev, shinda shima is the name of the song heath skates to in "this is skateboarding"

One of the best song selectors. Brought down the guillotine in that top pic!

You know where mine is homie. Thanks Scumco and Sons and of course you E.

i think i still have a mag where heath first shows up. there is a comment on him greasing rails with the sweat of his hair. i always thought that was so funny.
and he was once mixed up with some rapist from vegas. also another heath anecdote of back in the day...as you said: legend.

somehow I missed this one!

Always liked Heath. Pretty cool to see him in some Hook-ups gear.

fs flip on the bank back foot catch is great.

I like the night time ghost kf 50-50 on the rail.
