chrome ball incident #756: tangerine

Some dudes make it look way too easy.

The Robert Plant of skateboarding, Nate Jones. Style supreme.

Where are you?

Big up to Mighty Healthy Ray and Scumco Nick.

Soooo smooth! One of the best backside flips, back tails & 360 flips of all time. Dude was the DLXSF logo for crying out loud. Top 5 style for sure!

nate jones was cool, but along with kenny reed he also spawned the 'steezy' generation -- yo ollies, yo flips, yo kickflips, you b/s smith grinds, yo carves, etc

What are yo tricks? Let's pick it apart!

To me, "steezy" is contrived. I think N. Jones has natural style.

Nice title for the Robert Plant of skateboarding.

and yeah, t.a. I was kinda blown away by what he had to say in that interview. i honestly wasn't expecting so much substance from him...

He's super good. You need that Ipath ad with the limber legs kickflip over a construction barrier..got that Matt Field/Quim Cardona yogi shit. His Six Newell part was the shit, too.

Here's a good example of a skater who has maybe 5-10 minutes of footage from his entire career, and was still able to make a real and very lasting impact.

Nate is the man. he lives in Alameda and has a family. One of the nicest, laid back dudes I have met that rides a skateboard.

Must be nice to have such a nice bs flip and 360 flip. And great flow too.

Never knew he was from Dayton, OH. Wouldn't Dyrdek be the home town hero everyone would look up to? He doesn't mention him in the interview. That hammer period in skateboarding was corny.
