Chops thanks for posting this joint. Real talk, West Coast cats don't skate like this. Sorry dude, there's something about the East Coast that breeds this kinda creative dopeness.

this dude is so overrated

I was talking to Justin Girard one of the last times I saw him and it was around the time that Paul Rodriguez had dropped that Plan B part. I was pretty blown away by the skating, but Justin brought up a good point. He thought Paul was an amazing skater, but he also thought Bobby was on that level, but in a different way. He said, he'd like to see how Paul would adapt to the kind of spots and terrain that Bobby skates and see what sort of creativity he could bring. Or would he even be able to or want to skate those spots at all. I never thought of it that way, but it made a lot of sense.

I've always been a big fan of Bobby's skating. He's got a really good mixed bag of tricks and is really creative with his spot selection. Almost like he wants to skate the most jacked up spots so nobody else will ever skate them. You gotta love a guy who walks to the beat of his own drum.

Different strokes for different folks. I love this guy. I like his style, I like his spots, I like that he has an opinion.

if all it takes is skating shitty spots to get props, i want a pro model now.

anonymous your quote about shitty spots and being pro cracked me up.

Unfortunately you have to be able to skate shitty spots at a pro level. I hope skateboarding never looses all the people like Bobby. A sick skater that never really got his dues (probably didn't want them) Keep up the good work chops, site is the best! - jsparks

My buddies and I just skated with him last week, at a grimy DIY Brooklyn spot no less, haha. Cheers!

I've skated with this dude in the west coast and the east coast, and he can skate pretty much anything, anywhere, better than anyone out there. He was tech as hell 15 years ago and he got ill on banks before banks got banked on.

He's always going to be one of my top 3 skaters, ever-style, tricks, attitude, whatever. To hate this dude for skating what he wants and killing it is just irrational. He's not overrated, he's a legend.

Mad underrated, and the propaganda against him has become an annoyance

He's ok but If I have to hear about one more "found art" show or some other pretentious bullshit then I'll have to rethink my precious opinion! You can skate obscure spots but don't make a big deal about it... Be more fred gall-esque about it fer crissakes...

Polarizing skaters from New Jersey week on CBI is broken up by the weekend! I appreciate Puleo for having evolved throughout his time in the limelight ala DIll. For all the dudes that love him and hate him, I'd say Bob is rated just right. Beyond being exactly what we think he is, he might be more influential than a lot of people would like to admit. Skateboarding needs weirdos too.

lol

He pulls off a short guy style really well. Not many can.

Appreciated the creativity but not the bitterness that comes across in his interviews and general online persona. Maybe he's not like that in real life and he's positive, nice and happy. A lot of people come across a lot different online vs. real life.

Hating's easy, pussys! Funny how an art show is erroneously associated with pretentiousness.

"I don't like taking photos anymore. I don't like filming anymore. I just want to ride my skateboard."

Every sponsors dream. Good luck with that pro career mate.

Oh, and please don't do an Olly Todd post.

dude rips for sure, but the mad-rapper persona is getting a bit played out. we get it. you are pissed at the world.

dudes like this are funny though. will be the first ones to say "i don't like filming/shooting anymore", but yet, are the same ones who bitch about not getting their respect/dues.
(i.e. - rick o.)

can't have it both ways fellas, and damn, that angry guy shit is for these young cats. once you are a grown ass man trying to run that shit, it just looks trite and rehearsed.
