First off I fucking love your blog. Second, I watched celebraty tropical fish about a thousand times growing up, loved Pat Brennans part. Replayed it alot. And for Ocean Howells part, loved that part, and song, he was my favorite skate for years and is still in my top 5.
Agree on the late night check in. I love what you're doing here and hope you keep it up. Makes me feel vindicated for covering my bedroom walls with the pages of skateboard magazines.
Thanks guys. Still pretty blown away about having the opportunity to do this. Thanks again to the 'Tap.
Gotta admit, some of these questions were pretty damn hard and I'm already sweating a few choice answers that I left out.
Surprised I haven't gotten more flack! haha
Thanks to all my commenters for all the support. Honestly, I have little interest in how many "hits" the site gets as its just number. The comments and feedback are what really serve to keep this thing going.
Sprntrl, you're a large part of this. You too, Keith.
Thanks Leiv, I've yet to see anybody actually skate in them... wish I would. I've only seen drunk kids with them on at bars.
I feel like this site is much more than simply a look back at skating's yesteryears, but a look back at youth. All my old mags and the ads I had up on the wall of my old bedroom (cups & jugs over my bed) got destroyed in a fire, but they're all still here. Looking at the photos on this site remind me of summers spent out in front of my house trying to tweak my ollies like Huf. As is the case with anything you lose your purity with age, but those feelings come back to me whenever I see shit up on this site or on the tap top 5s.
That's so sick, Chops. I was super stoked when I saw you got a top five with the Tap. So good to read your very candid fan out moments. Keep up the great work. So hyped to see you getting credit for your work.

A great insight into the mind of Chops!
Thoroughly addicted to your blog, man,oh the hours I've spent here, when I can't sleep (I'm an insomniac).
"You can figure out who those dudes are on Krooked Guest Boards"
^Nearly pissed myself at that.
BTW saw a dude rocking the Chrome Ball dunks out here in Japan. I stopped him from skating them the rest of the evening so he wouldn't fuck them up.

I didn't realize at first that the ads listed are links. If you click on them, you can see the ad.
Nice
This made for a good read, interesting to see the tables turned on the interviewer, so to speak.
super good E!

As hard as it is to ignore your so cleverly-worded request, I am.
Tough guy.

"Some things are timeless." Hell fucking yes.

Big ups to you Chops for keeping it tight.
That was awesome to check Tha Tap and see that you got a World Famous Top 5.
The ollie with Sheffey and Coco was in a Thrasher calendar. I think it also ran in the mag, but as a much smaller picture.
