chrome ball incident #680: strum

As you know, I'm usually not this prompt with the requests but the startling realization that D Gar was nowhere to be found on CBI actually proved to be quite embarrassing.

Problem solved.

I totally forgot about the nollie flip noseslide on hubba hideout. I was so stoked on that flick when it came out. Danny is dope. I just wish he'd put out more footage.

His 411 part with James Craig always cracked me up.

I liked his kickflip off the bank in Mosaic (and the Tim O commentary: "A kickflip better than that can never be done, only its equal").

Gotta echo Dave, totally forgot about the nollie flip nose slide at Hubba. DAYUMN! I have to admit I've slept on this dude (not literally!); no longer.

Anyone remember the name of the shoe he's wearing in the BS Noseblunt ad? Loved that shoe when it came out. I also gotta agree with the fact that Danny Garcia doesn't quite get his due. The guys been consistently killing it for over ten years and one ups himself every time he puts out a new part. One of the cleanest styles out there.

His Mosaic part came out of nowhere and (in my opinion) stands up there with the best. Great style, fantastic trick selection, and fitting song. The nollie gap out to crooks always gets love but I also like the switch flip over the gap. Perfection.

The back lip on the double kink... I wonder why they didn't move the pylons. Those would be distracting.

What's going on with that cover? sw bs flip?

Danny Garcia is super smooth. Always been a fan. Great style, good power, effortless execution.

he seemed more buff 10 years ago

Prolly cause he wasn't ever really buff but since he has a slightly larger frame than average (especially sk8ers) all the skinny sat nerds thought he was huge. Now hat you're old and fat you second guess yourself.

Edit: sk8 nerds

One of my personal all time favorites. Habitat was the most exciting company to watch be born and develop. Always great art and ads.

The nollie crook pop over into the skinny walkway is what dreams are made of.

SSBSTS. Had the pleasure of seeing his progression in person catching sessions here and there. D-Gar is pure natural talent. Stepped on a board for the first time and two years later he's pretty much pro. Amazing skater and person.
