chrome ball incident #678: can't stop
I remember the first time I heard about the Search for Animal Chin, my friend told me the "nightmare air" was a real move and that Lance pulled it by carrying around a pillow as he rolled around Del Mar.
You don't know how bummed I was when I saw that he was lying. Still kinda am.
In the wake of some pretty hectic times here at CBI, I figured I'd start the weekend off right by going back to someone I consider to be the heart and soul of skateboarding, Lance Moutain.
Gotta admit, I've been sleeping on this part. Holy shit.
And in other news:
Stoked on this for so many reasons... least of which being the spot is about 10 minutes away from the chrome ball stacks. So sick.
Thanks for all the support out there. Truly appreciated.
For Ron.

Dill is on Fire! So stoked. Mountain rules also.
The first pic made me start riding Indy's, the Cross Bones ad made me start riding those wheels, and I still have, just the cover, to the '86 photo annual. Always loved Lance since I started skating in 1985. Great post!
super happy to see dill killing. but lance... for some reason the way he blew shit off made it okay to not be crazy good, just happy, as a skater. lance makes me happy... well lance and julien.. heh.
Style and humour still go a long way, even in 2011. Lance is the best.
Just played catch-up with a few posts I'd missed here (the London riots have been distracting to say the least), but glad to hear your mom's doing well.
Onwards and upwards!
that "feel the difference," ad... love it.
That Skate Park write up is great! ~ Thanks
Dude is so good. Seems to have a great attitude. And that Cross Bones grip tape is still sick to this day.
That Dill sequence is just too much...
Lance sacking a rail..........ouch
I want a book on Lance!
And, What in the hell kind of trucks are those in the "customer's always wrong" pic? never seen those before!
Lance is the best!!!!!!!
Always a fan of Lance! Him and Cab always seemed so positive and down to earth.
The first skateboarder in my neighbourhood who could do tricks and had a shop sponsor (tferg) was riding the Lance future primitive board. I'll never forget that.
And that Dill ad and cover are sick. He's getting, for him, quite a bit of coverage lately.
LANCE! Awesome, such a legend.
They're really getting their moneys worth out of that Dill trick, aren't they.
You should find some more pics of Street Lance!
So, I don't actually believe this will have effect.
