One of the all-time greats. Street innovator, musician and all-around class act, Ray Barbee.
Don't know why it's taken so long to post up that classic TWS pro spotlight but at least it's up now.
And yes, that autographed postcard with the frontside board was his response to the geeky fan letter I wrote in the 6th grade. Thanks Ray.
Special thanks to Skunk Magazine. Keep up the good work.

Noice!!!
Good one...R.I.P. Brauch.
Love me some Ray Barbee...I wish I could still get my hands on those Visions he's sporting in most of the pics.
i did a 3 week tour across europe with ray once, before the trip i called all my friends back home to tell em who i was going with.i was stoked beyond words.
must've seen the rubber boys 1000s of times. Ray's the best in that part. I was obsessed with no-complys, rolled up jeans and black Vision street wear shoes!(with the patch ripped off, ha)
Thanks Ray!
good title. public domain was the last good bones video for me. love this guys ability to adapt to a rad kinda post-skate gig. pretty inspirational. fs rock is fuckn steezy and did i catch an "ollie shove it" in one of those captions? when did it change to pop shove it?
I have that exact same postcard with the exact same autograph, but I got mine off ebay years and years ago.
postcard is sick!
Ray Barbee is so stylin'. Smooth.
Alife did a re-make of that VSW shoe.
f/s blunt CBS ledge is intense
met RB at a bones demo in NC and got the same card. raced go carts with him, lance, j-tbaud and beat them all. end of fan out report.
always thought it was odd how he could ride for powell and wear vision st wear. not a lot of that going on back then.
thanks guys.
I think spike shot most of the photos on that one. so classic.
I can't even imagine being in that situation, upson. So sick.
Loo, i still get hyped to this day whenever I hear that "weakness" song. part is so classic.
r dahl, i remember when they were "ollie varials". haha
kevy b, hope you didn't pay too much.
More of the fan mail please! And a picture of you from the sixth grade to follow.
