chrome ball incident #628: heaven is falling

Been saving this one for a minute...

Thrasher's epic D.Way retrospective commemorating Danny's 2nd SOTY win back in 2005.

A little newer than what I usually go with but it's just so damn good.

Have a great weekend everyone.

I have been a lurker on this site for months. But when Danny showed up...I had to write what I believe. Danny Way besides "Rodney" is the best skater PERIOD. What he does is mind blowing.

The gnarliest ever! Saw him at McGill's skatepark a few times back in the day and would just sit and watch in total awe.

D "the bionic" Way!!!!
Miss a lot not seeing him at he Mega ramp touring in Brazil, unfortunately he got hurt at the first day...his vert skills has always been killing but don´t forget his street tech too, Plan B´s Virtual Reality it´s a real proof of his street skills as well as C.McKay!

Solid interview. Took me a while to read it!

It's hard to tell in an interview but in the 3 or 4 I've read over the past 20+ years, Danny Way comes across as some combination of cocky, arrogant and confident. I get the impression he would be super intimidating to meet in person.

Hosoi/Way dubs is amazing! And I guess it's pretty ironic that back in 91, when everyone was wearing other companies' shirts and hats, he's wearing and Alien shirt, which he ended up riding for a decade later.

The guy is so gnarly.

I forgot one thing... that Plan B vs. Kanten thing! Never saw it, never knew about it, until a few years ago. So crazy. Huge "What if...". Another crazy "What if" came up in that Frankie Hill web doc... Hill on Blind!? wtf...
