chrome ball incident #597: in my mind

thought I'd play nice tonight...

after receiving far more requests than any other skater over the course of this website, I'm proud to finally welcome mr. tom knox to the chrome ball incident.

forgot how much fun this part was.

Tom Knox seriously ripped every terrain that was skateable in the central valley. I've seen him get out of the car and kill a spot with no warmup too many times to count.

Speed Freaks was a hugely influential video for it's time and featured so many heavy hitters...it's hard to believe that many riders rode for the same wheel company.

Such a rad post. Tom Knox was the first pro I ever met.
Knew a kid that had it when I was coming up, but I had to wait for the re-issue to get mine: http://www.skateboard.com/imgs/p_13842.jpg

Sick post. I was a massive Tom Knox fan. Loved his straight edge inspired ads and graphics as well as his raw curb skating abilities.

thanks chops! speed freaks was one of the first videos that I had on repeat for at least a year. and Tom's part was my favorite in it. that b/s smith photo is so rad. that spot looks really fun. and trip out on how his back foot looks like its over the bolts. not even on the tail.

kf wallride was pretty sick.

There was this one kid I grew up skating with who was really into Tom Knox and he used to hum and sing his Speed Freaks song when he was skating. Made me dislike both of them.
