chrome ball incident #517: palindromes

I remember the last time I did an Eldridge post, I brought up the fact that I'd recently abandoned switch mongo... well, let's just say that after catching a glimpse of my newly-acquired switch push on video, switch piss leg made quite the speedy return to the repertoire.

stoked on Pete's new Hallelujah part... my man always comes through with the solid ambidextrous steez that takes like 5 watches to fully grasp. dug seeing the KT cameo as well.

...and since we're on the subject, those kids out there trying to negate pudwill's amazing-ass part on some "flailing arms" shit... c'mon, son. dude busted out some incredible shit right there. you're goddamn right he's trying.

big up to skin and my man dave ashley.

Sorry for the double post but I think you need to re-think your stance on switch mongo for real.

I agree with you about T-Puds though.
Fuck that flailing arm shit.
Dude is on some other shit right now, the Transworld part, the Maloof contest... come on, how can people trip on this dude and his arms?

Like Clay Davis would say:
Sheeeeeeeeeeeeit

switch mongo is all good for the over 30's imo

Love Eldridge been to that switch heel spot, that shit is no joke.

Is it really switch if everything you do is switch. It sort of reminds me of that kid that used to be on Shorty's he does his whole parts "switch". Sammy Baptista. Same thing.

Yeah, screw some haters. Seeing T-Puds at Maloof turned him into one of my new favs! Dude rips! Still need to watch that Transworld part, Chops! It may be missing from your apartment this evening when you get home...

forum and blog fodder lol

I'd be pretty psyched to have the robotic skills of P-Rod and the flailing arms of T-Pud if I could do all the tricks they can.

Eldridges part in the TWS video was awesome. Enjoyed it the most out of all of them. Like I said in the previous Eldridge post, I had no idea who he was until a few years ago.

I've always been stoked on Pete, but with so much of his skating switch, it does bring up the debate over what is switch versus regular. I've always figured he warms up with the regs and then when the camera is out, the switch goes down. The regular heelflip over the hip is killer.

Don't give up on switch pushing. You didn't learn how to push normally in an instant. If you do a little every time you skate, it eventually comes together. I've been telling that same thing to the little kids who push mongo at the park in effort to help them learn the correct way to push.

Sick post. Eldridge is highly underrated.

And for the record, ain't a damn thing wrong with a mongo switch push. Especially when it looks good.

I rest my case.

Eh-I love Pudwill's mad scientist style and I'm over all the farm-fed arms at the side teenagers.

I'd wager that Pete can still snap higher regular than switch, and that's the defining factor.

switch mongo push for over 30s is actually a prerequisite - skateboarding ended with the 90s really - and as soon as I saw Stevie link I knew already...man I just wanna push switch mongo like Keenan. period. I could even go into a frozenincarbonite theory about how defining this was style wise in a Menace era. the mongo push was turned into an attitude. that and a good 'pulling the pants' technique. combine both for best effect. Steeeez. I'll stick to that.
