chrome ball incident #492: sludgefeast
"There was a period of time where no one was really doing too many gnarly tricks... everyone tried to slack off and do a bunch of smith grinds... and then I think it was probably around the time that Freddie Gall came through, did some sick shit on there and everyone got sparked again." -Mike Carroll
One of Jersey's finest, Fred Gall.
Big thanks to everyone thats picked up a chrome ballers shirt. I think Keith has a few left... for those looking to be the height of fashion.

Cool Dinosaur Jr reference. I love those Eastern Exposure videos- East Coast, Dan Wolfe, Gall, Oyola, Reason, etc... that was some really cool sh-t.
fred gall has always been so goddamn sick. awesome post
411 #8, Fred Gall was the best.
when his thrasher came out it was shocking.
I've never seen Fred Gall in real life but he looks a lot different in old photos than he does in more recent once. He's sick for sure.
Being from Eastern Canada (Ontario), we heard a lot about the crazy skating coming out of NJ. Fred Gall's name always came up, even when he was a little tiny kid in those old Tracker videos, as well as this other guy named Peter Mihalenko. That Peter guy spent some time up in Toronto and he was super good.
Got my shirt in the mail yesterday and have already had to try to explain it to a few people today. The girl at the coffee shop was confused.
Thanks for all the hard work!
OG NJ Scum
Thanks guys.
Yeah Coals, just watched EE3 over the weekend actually. Love that video. Close to 15 years old and still holds up.
yeah, aaron... he was on the radar for a little bit before going underground for a minute... then BOOM!
Keith, didn't Pete M. skate for New School or something like that?
Thanks Camels.
yeah... Pete M was on the NS/Alva program. They were pretty heavy with Eastcoast/Ontario riders.
That Carroll quote is awesome! On Video had some solid content.
Down to the last L and XL.
