Nice! Was never a fan of Carroll until seeing his Epicly episodes. Now I think he's the shit. His skating has matured so much over the years, love it.

His part in Questionable was my favorite. It reminds me of what I liked about Video Days- It's one thing to do hard sh_t, but to make it look effortless is the best.

thanks guys.

Mike, never actually heard anybody say that they weren't a carroll fan before but I respect the honesty. Big up.

I feel what you're saying Coals, MC's Questionable clip is in my top 3 favorite clips of all time...but I didn't post it here as none of the clips on youtube had audio... frustrating.

So many things going on in that part... MC coming into his own, Embarcadero and EMB blowing up, Check Your Head and Heiro, SF in general... goddamn that was exciting. Modern city-kid skateboarding had arrived.

never heard of a non_Carrol fan either. Equate that to hating on Jesus but to each their own.

Sick pick of crooks on a completely un-waxed hubba hideout. That was burly!

Speaking of smooth, how bout a post on Caesar Singh? This guy is underrated as all hell.

yeah... that bs krooked grind on hubba... the Pumas, the Think shirt, the tiny wheels, the Carroll hand. Amazing.

The bs smith on the table looks great too. Carroll in Half Cabs were a match made in heaven.

Never seen that Slap interview before. Thanks! When he's talking about EMB, it reminds me of some of the spots I grew up skating. Kids from some of the smaller towns near by would show up at our spot(s) and basically try to one-up all the locals. Fucking kooks!

Carroll is one of the greatest, I don't think there's any real question there. Oozing with not just style, but incredible control. His flip tricks always seem magnetically attracted to his feet.

Anybody know what the deal with him is these days though? I've seen numerous mentions from him on various Crailtap videos and the like that he's on a "hiatus" of sorts or "isn't skating this month" - seems like he isn't really feeling it lately?

I am sorry but that Thrasher cover does no justice to Hubba or Carroll's skills, makes it look like a curb or a small ledge. Those were the best of times and the worst of times.
