"I hate to say anything negative about skateboarding."
One of the best styles going... dude can turn on a dime and hit anything out there with whatever trick he wants at any time. A controlled aggression.
Another Connecticut ripper today, Donny B.
...Hosoi's write up in that check-out still bugs me out though.

Broke the mold.
Nice!
his part in Welcome to Hell was way too short.
After a Savannah Slamma contest, a lot of pros were skateboarding at a spot with a brick ledge. Scott Oster said to Hosoi, "These bricks are fast." Hosoi's response was, "No, TOO fast". That became a running joke for about the next six months, for any situation ("This coffee's hot"."No, TOO hot"; "I'm hungry"."No, TOO hungry", etc.).
I like Hosoi as much as the next person. But at least in the past, sometimes what he did didn't make "sense"... he just looked cool doing it. I think it's why that Check Out sounds odd. It's just words on paper; you don't have the Hosoi persona with it.
EE3 was so influential! Watched it before every session for a couple of years.... and his was the best part........... always left you wanting more.
Hosoi might kick the slang out, but Meth is a hell of a drug..
Power "lines"(that means more than ONE trick), barley grinds, K/f wallrides- all with effortless style..
Welcome to Hell...
heard he has a masturbation problem.
Connecticut represent! Now all you need is Greco next, and you can hit the Three kings of CT Street skating! We make em tough here, because the conditions suck! lol
EE3. legendary.
