without question busenitz is post-worthy. dude's been one of my favorites for quite sometime now. but unfortunately, he's a little outside the timeframe i usually draw from. and since the cbi magazine stash dries up at 2002, I don't have nearly the material I need to make post worthy of the man. but yeah, chrome ball backs busenitz to the fullest.
Mic-E pointed Trujillo out to me at a contest here (Montreal) in 1997. He was still a flow dude, and back then, before YouTube, you didn't know who companies flowed, so I'd never heard of him. But he was gnarly, and a few months later he had a photo in Thrasher in which he was sporting a visor beanie. How things have changed.
I saw Trujillo skating alameda solo one day, mid/late 90s. I don't think I knew who he was right away, I just remember thinking that it was the steeziest park skating I had ever seen before in my life.
Fun fact, Dollin showed up to the park on the same day, this was when he was on Stereo and wore bucket hats.
it's funny that TNT has a Motley Crue tattoo but then Vans got a Cease & Desist for running a S.O.T.Y. party photo with Nikki Six in it. how pathetic. motley crue sucks eyeliner spandex side-pipes!
TNT rips apart every park they film him at. He's an animal. I couldn't even imagine skating like that, it would feel way too good. I always get stoked when people comment with stories or memories of skateboarders posted. Gives a glimpse. I'm down for it.
I remember seeing him at Slam City Jam one year... I had no idea who he was. Some tiny dude with funny hair in practice busting out the hugest airs and then a nollie hard flip over the pyramid. wtf???

I like that guy. I'm not hesh, but that guy is gnarly.
Speaking of gnarly Deluxe guys, what about Busenitz? He is worthy of a Chrome Ball Incident, in my humble opinion.
thanks coals.

That air at Newberg is a thing of beauty. Best cross over grabs ever. Well, him and Speyer.
