"break your leg! i hope god makes you break your leg right now! break it! get run over! son of a bitch!" -some crazy old dude's reaction to satva leung's frontside boardslide.
been tripping over this
part for the last week or so. forgot how nice
this kid was... a real
smooth style that was all his own.
last i heard, he'd gone from slinging pizza slices in Frisco to rockin' the
lens around NYC.

Good stuff! Melon photo is so sick. Satva is way underrated.
That crooked cop in the 3rd pic and the tan/gum 23's in the last are sick.
Always liked Satva. Gotta support the yellow brothas!
satva was the man. too bad he never went pro for toy machine; and cot damn, toy machine had the heavy hitters if u look at that roster under that dumpster frontside boardslide.
on another note, where is panama dan?
jimmy chung of the American Dream Unit??
this site is the best.
Really forgot about this guy. So sick. Did nose Nollie frontslide flips up through the legs like it is supposed to be done. So ill.
Carryout. i heard Jimmy Chung went into Fairman's(his old shop sponsor for the unknowing) last year looking or some of his old footage and the girl working did not even know who he was and sent him away. For shame Dave. He is around and does not skate anymore from what I understand. He was always the nicest guy and always had the illest backside flips and backside tails around.
As for panama dan, I have no idea.
Awesome post.
How do you even reel in a melon that tweeked?
Satva interview
DJ Satva
he had a part in the Rough Neck hardware video that came out a bit ago... maybe you missed it.
Yah, what ever happened to Panama Dan. He was a funny dude....and yes Jimmy Chung never did end up finding the old footage he was looking for.....
I used to be the TM for this small skate company and so I would get a lot of video tapes sent in. At one point I got a video tape from Satva and I already knew him but I didn't know what to do about putting him on the team. So I spaced it and never did anything. Good for him though as obviously he ended up okay.
Sorry about that one, Satva!
I worked with Jimmy Chung for about a year at a home building company. He moved on about a year ago. He was working in Accounting. Funny thing is He definitely was looking for his old stuff. He had to buy his old deck off of Ebay for like $200. I brought in my old skateboard to show him and he did a taildrop off the desk. We were on the third floor so it really made bang. He told me to follow suit, but after that thud, I knew management would be buzzing in at any moment so I declined and we packed it up.
