One of my all-time favorite pieces... and a perfect way to start the weekend.
T.G., Matty and Ray hop on the old Blues Highway to see what happens...
the result became BLKTOP PROJECT.
Have good weekend everybody.
And if you get the chance, check out Scumco & Sons new "Road to the Riches" edit. Super good.
Bye.

Every time you start to think, CBI has to run out of posts at some point, you go and post something like this to end the week. Amazing.
I still have the slap with that article in it and every once in a while I'll take it out and read it. Such a great piece that could have fit just as well into a National Geographic as it does into a skate mag. Nice post!
So good to see spots like the Firehole in there...and seeing them skate the Louisville park in person was so fucking epic. TG over that hip was perfection. Rad post Chops, thanks!
I've never met the guy, but Ray Barbee just seems like the raddest dude ever. Always smiling, jamming away on a guitar, and skating like a boss. Totally inspirational.

Good gravy..I'm almost 43, I used to skate, I still play the drums in Baton Rouge and knew 'the wall' aka/the bricks pic as soon as I saw it. Bless you, you youthful turds.
Yeah, OK. That was a good one.
