#520: everybody wants to rule the world
Underrated tech wiz that will look exactly the same 30 years from now as he did 15 years ago... and he'll still probably skate for blind.
People sleep on this kid.

So sick. People rarely list him in their top 5s but he's amazing.
I remember thinking his part in 'super conductor super collider' was so nice in '93. Couple of years later, he was on Blind with the 20 shot sequence part which showed true consistency and progression. I've sometimes wondered why he hadn't moved to different sponsors, but from anything he's ever put out there, I've been blown away by it. I can't question the skill and innovation that is what he's put down for nearly two decades.
The guy has been skating since the 70's too.
So amazing.
He's been doing his thing for so long and doing it better than most. I've been wanting to get some Ronnie on VID and regret not scanning the switch 360 flip etnies ad from 1994 for last week.
That f/s flip up the stairs sick!
Dude is fucking amazing and has always been. Underrated is correct. One of the best styles. I watched his and Lavar's part in Trilogy so many fucking times before skating it not even funny.
Whoever thought it was a clever idea not to renew Creager's contract at Etnies was one short sighted and closed minded fool. Permanently effortless form and shape when he skates.
Great one holmes. You know a personal fave. I just watched the trilogy part and will have to go skate now.
kf over the platform of the quarter pipe looks amazing. Same with the fs flip up 5 stairs.
Always a fan. Super consistent. Also stoked that he's a golfer.
I wonder if I could ollie that street gap that Ronnie is switch frontside fliping
2 comments from sprntrl this week... i must be doing something right. haha. big up.
rd, loved that super conductor part as well, couldn't find it online though. bummer. I feel you on the sponsor tip but at this point but there's something to be said for the loyalty.
never too late, Justin. keep up the good work.
thanks Nick. yeah, that sequence is no joke.
ciaran, i agree.
big up Mr. Beats. Feeling a trip to c-bus soon... but of course, I always say that. I'll let you know.
thanks guys.
Actually found the super conductor part a couple years back here:

ihatethatfuckingreaperchrome.jpg, heh.
I saw Ronnie at the old Huntington Beach park during the Trilogy era. I remember being floored at his consistency, then he went and vomited in the grass a few times. I'm not sure if he was hungover or sick, but he was killing it when most people would take a day off.
