chrome ball incident #313: 8 steps to perfection
you know how you have those favorite video parts where sometimes at the beginning of it you secretly imagine that its your name that pops up and that the dude on the screen is actually you that is so good, doing all that crazy shit...
just sayin'.
alright chrome ballers, i'm out next week. Going here for this... among other distractions.
happy birthday to my lady, miss tara (aka "peel").

one of my friends had that tws cover stapled to his door for years, one of the first photos i remember being sincerely baffled by/stoked on.
Nice post to end the week and leave up until you get back from vacation. Kalis is timeless. Aside from wind pants and some DC mesh shirts a while ago, his kit's been pretty much the same all these years.
I'm heading to NY as well but not until the end of Aug. I gotta hit you up for some info.
Man, that tre flip at the beginning of Heavy Metal (over the garbage can) taught me how to do 'em. I'd just watch him do that one trick over and over, go outside and they would just come so easy.
I love that Kalis still rips just as hard. I'm headed to that show on Thursday I think! Should be rad. Enjoy your trip, holmes.
I know its random.. but is there any chance you could do one of these, about kien lieu?
thanks guys.
johnny, a donger post is already in the works.
At the skatehouse I lived in back in the day Kalis' song from Photosynthesis, 24 Hours by Freddie Foxxx, was our all weekend anthem. You knew once the first beer was cracked that was going into the CD player.
Kalis also sets himself apart by actually having an opinion about things in the (at times) overly PC skateboard world. His dig on Duffel here is a breath of fresh air (and it would be wonderful to see the uncut version...), and as a post suggestion Chops, his most recent Slap interview was amazing in it's honesty; obviously the skating ripped too.
That show is probably pretty damn cool. One of those damned east coast events I'll never be at. I couldn't even make it to the Hunt/Brook show an hour away though.
Kalis redefines tricks when he does them. Enjoy the trip and break.
Sick post - Kalis has had one of the best styles ever.
