chrome ball incident #564: the killing moon

"back in the day, we didn't even have spots that we went to. it had nothing to do with 'we're going to go skate to this spot in the city.' it was like, 'we're going to skate the whole city.' that's what street skating is all about."

big up to condo nick.

That switch 270 to lip is on one of my all time favorite boards. The kid holding a sign that read "we will never forget".

For some reason, I thought his Transworld part was so raw. I really enjoyed that part and it would get me hyped to skate. I always thought it would be his big comeback...but then it seemed like he just dropped back into obscurity. Shiloh is dope though.

Shiloh might have ushered in the combo movement. It was great to see the post prison guy reemerge at his pre-prison weight and kill it in the TWS vid, but I think the booze got the best of him. Supremely talented nonetheless.

Re: his part in Trylogy, we still call crouching for a trick and then standing up again to try it once more "Shilohing."

That first bb cover really is sick. The board, the shifty.

I took out the TWS First Love dvd from my local library. Shiloh's part was solid and and super fun. Surprised me after not seeing him for a while.

I rode a lot of Shiloh boards back in the 90's. At $2 royalty per board, I was personally responsible for putting at least $20 in his pocket.

My word verification is "ledge". sick!
