Flawless indeed, and I'd like to add light footed yet powerful. In the 360 flip over the barrel sequence, there's one kid who is paying next to no attention until more than half way through it; way to blow it kid.
Kalis is one of those dudes that spawned a million skateboarders to appreciate cities and the "lifestyle" (and bag of tricks) that is often associated with that. I definitely was geeked on such skaters and what they represented at the time.
I personally think his biggest exposure was in the TWS' 6th Sense video, even though he was in plenty of videos before that. "When I first started skateboarding, I liked to watch people do tricks, and I said man...."
One of the best 360 flips ever.
Patrick O'Dell, if he can make it happen, should look into doing a small series on Kalis for his show.
Man even BAM isn't there in it's entirety anymore and the last time I was at what is left of it, some homeless people had been shitting behind the ledge all summer so it was a pretty week session due to the stench and sticky ledge. I think Kalis might have been onto something when he said it was all going to be skateparks in the future cause it is definitely going that way.

Never seen that interview before. Thanks!
Always liked Kalis and his crazy bag of tricks.

Timeless. Always will be looked upon as such.
