Man... it's been a long time since I read that one. Thank!
It's easy to forget how young he was when he turned pro for H-Street... right before Plan B started.
I wonder how much one of those mac and cheese H-Street boards would fetch on ebay. I can remember going into FTC the summer that model came out and Plan B had just started and the shop had a huge pile of those boards. Back then, FTC did lots of tennis stuff like restringing. That really shocked me.
yikes, original modern street champion
some weirdness on the exit frame of that 360 flip noseslide at embarcadero. lazy photog?
Heck yeah!!!!!! Thanks soooo much. This is what I've been waiting for all year.
A classic, thanks.
One time Mike, Greg, Pierre and I were on the BART train going home and then we hear the train operator say something about there being a delay at the Civic Center Station (which is a couple of stops ahead). Someone on the train told us that someone had jumped in front of the train and so that's why there was a delay. We hopped off that train and hopped on another train system called Muni that ran above Bart (don't ask. it's not that complicated, but I don't feel like exlaining) and we got off at Civic Center. They closed off the BART section so we couldn't get down there but we could see down into the station. I remember them taking a lot of pictures of the dude before they even moved the train. The dude was still underneath for a long time. I remember when they finally moved the train, they moved the body and I just remember the dude's face was a big red spot. That was crazy. I remember Pierre got really upset cause when they went through the dude's pants they pulled out his wallet and there was a bunch of money in there. Pierre couldn't believe that someone with that much money would kill himself. I guess he didn't know how good he had it.
I wonder what year and what is the issue of tws classic interview? Thanks
