chrome ball incident #647: dirty rotten scoundrels
Switching up speeds tonight with a Reda-heavy post featuring Zoo York's criminally underrated Texas transplant, Anthony Correa. More than a few requests for this one.
Never really cared for Ill Al Skratch but this part always got me hyped. Ding-Dong!
And that backside smith is straight vicious. 11 years ago.
No Peep This? Bummer.
Special thanks to Lakai and Deluxe for the links.

All those grinds are so tweaked out. Sick!
Zoo always had so many underrated rippers.
WHAAAAT 3rd to last flick is at a school in my town
in that same pic, check out his set-up: deck covered in first generation lakai stickers -- remember those ones that were actual pictures of the rick + mike models? -- but he's wearing es koston 1s. dude must have really pumped on that modus look...
and i really dug anthony's last years as a pro, when he got really into metal but still skated all mixtape
I loved the soundtrack of that zoo-video.
"Your thought pattern changes every 7 years"
dude had an ill lanky style, very technical as well.
1UP!
That Flushing Meadows's fountain spot always looks good in photos. Looks like a fun place to skate.
I didn't see much footage of Correa back in the day but the little bits I did see, I liked. I never saw Mix Tape when it first came out.
I wish you'd published this interview he got a long time ago with Big Brother though…
still looking for that one to be honest.
He should have stayed in NY and not moved back to Houston- H-town has a way of killing talent,,,
