Ah, Wheezing Maniac. Did they ever have any other songs? "Adjusted the bag, made love to the ladder," or something. Classic.
I was trying to figure out a list of skate tatoos cliches and I only came up with three designs:1. Anything Thrasher-related2. Crailtap board3. Matt hensley church glass graphic. The one I did when I was 16 ha ha. I felt so black-shippish, but I was just running with the herd, I guess.
oops, 4, 5 and 6: Spitfire head, Indy cross, Tom Knox sorcerer.
great song. how about dave graves. that guy killed it. i love when throws the kids board on the roof.
hairfarmer, i really hope they didn't do anything else. there's no need for them to, that joint is perfection.stereo, i saw a hensley tattoo the other day (but it was the foot model)... i've been meaning to ask you, after your "handy with shovels" post, do you know where i can find any "eclipse" (the band that did Ocean's and Marcus's parts on Risk It). Figured you were the dude to ask. If you can hook that up, i will be forever in your debt. been looking for a copy of that for like 17 years...Pizzy, I was always confused about which one was Dave Graves... i know he starts off with some step-off shove-it steez, but then it cuts to the Carroll brothers. then we come back to some time-travellin' kid i don't think we'd seen before who completely ripped those stairs apart... who's the last guy?
I'll get on that for sure....
Shackle me Not and Hokus Pokus were definitely two of the most influential videos in my skateboarding life. Hensley was so sick. Nice boned melonchollies. Then he started getting into pools skating and fullpipes (chillin' with Rubalcaba and Hostetter, spelling could totally be wrong) and I had to find a new favourite skater.
i thought that kid was graves but i could be wrong. i'll have to watch it again. h-street had so many people on the team that it could be some random kid but still rad whoever it was.ocean's and marcus's parts in risk it were dope. check tim jackson's part. so crazy.
thanks, stereo.i was always cool with mario but marc hostetler (sp?) always seemed like kind of a kook. what was up with wearing that piece of burnt toast around his neck? seriously. why'd he do that? yeah, pizzy. i remember tim jackson's part. venice beach ridiculousness. that guy was just... absurd. wasn't he on z-roller or somethin...?
