chrome ball incident #741: space monkey

"Nah, I can't speak English. I can't understand you."

Unstoppable Brazilian Ghetto Kid with the last name we all gave up on, Rodrigo TX.

How come nobody talks about how good this video is?

And in other news: Gino!

Criminally underrated for far too long. Rodrigo kills it! Stoked to see him on DGK, seems like a much better fit than The Firm or Flip.

one of the best, always doing the hardest tricks and making them look good. Side note-eSpecial was slept on(internet curse), but PJ's line with the nollie cab front blunt is something else

One of all time favorites!
He is super good, super productive, always has good stuff, even after surgeries.
All those photos with old bulky eS shoes make me miss good old eS even more.

TX kills it. Also - his 1st Es shoe was one of the most comfortable skate shoes ever.

I still have first TX shoe brand new, it's amazing. I can't make myself to skate them, I had couple of those shoes and this is my last pair.
They don't make shoes like that any more, very supportive and durable.

TX has been amazing for such a long time. Flipping into grinds has always blown me away.

That's because of the new era of materialistic world - huge company's and their business plans. It's viable, because it seems that it's contented with our nowadays consumer society and noone stands against it. It's obvious, that it is a lot more gainfully if you trash and buy new shoes in two weeks than skate them for example for a year and still maintain them with protective tools. That's why the canvas, vulc soles and other non-lasting fabric.

FOR ME, IT'S CRAZY LIKE would have been an awesome title for this post.

Yeah this dude was on some crazy shit back in the day when he first came up, like Crail Trucks or some budget Brazilian company but he made that shit work and look at him now, dude is a monster!

His Firm part is so mind boggling still, just ludicrous throughout.

too funny. that fs flip nosegrind caption. the future looks bright because of people like Rodrigo, Tosh, Richie Belton, P Rod, Andrew Gordon (who is that?), Evan Hernandez, Bastien. hahaa. well, 2 out of 7 isn't bad.

Last of a dying breed, this guy is. So timeless.

@handsclapanin: Andrew Gordon was a kid from Canada. He was backed by Rowley and was on Flip-flow-status, but went nowhere. I remember he had a TWS Checkout. FS 50-50 on a hefty double-kink at like 14 years old. For shame, Flip has made a lot of offers over the years and most of the dudes never made it out of their shadow. SkateparkOfTampa also tells me that he rode for Monkey Business at one point, so, yeah, there ya go.
