chrome ball incident #725: crash test dummy

"I just hold on. I just try to make it. Committed."

Locomotive lip technician not afraid to fucking eat it, Ben Schroeder.

Style king of the week!

Grosso captures it pefectly:

"As gnarly and as death as possible, that's Schroeder."

...and yes that is Gonz up there on what I can only imagine as the losing end of a Big Ben entanglement but according to Ben, they both made it. Thanks Schroeder!

  1. Nice one, Big Ben's been a longtime favorite. Actually saw him pull up to my local park on Sunday but he didn't get out of the car, just talked to someone through the window and left. Bummer.

  6. Gullwing Army!!! Big Ben rips too hard. I love watching him skate. He's out on an injury right now I believe.

Refresh my memory but wasn't it big Ben who dropped in multiple times on a 14' vert wall(straight wall, no transition, just straight to flat)for gas money home from a late eighties vert contest? I could swear I remember that was him but my aging brain can mix things up sometimes.

  7. Thanks for the comments, guys.

To clear something up from earlier, just got an email from the Ben himself and this is Gonz up there and both tricks were made. Evidently video exists. Thanks Ben.

Yeah, Leiv. That's my favorite part, too. haha

    Big up Ricks!

Not sure, Kris. On a quasi-related note, didn't some dude try to wallride the entire way around the vert ramp in Houston? wasn't it in Glam Boys on Wheels?

  8. The drop in guy was Don Fisher and I think Steve Schneer took on the wallride at Houston.
