Early highlights from Guy and Frosty's little fashionista offshoot. Every ad a gem.
On a related-note, I have a short ode to Frosty's Fandangle in the new issue of Grey that just came out. Pick one up or check it out
here.
And be sure to follow @koolmoeleo on instagram if you're not already. Dude is killing it on there.
Bye.
I like these earlier 4* ads. There's something that I really just like about that late 90's/early 2000's ad style where fresh and hesh were clearly separate entities.
ReplyDeleteMega post! Always loved the brand, and their ads were so well done and consistently good. Great post, Chops.
ReplyDeleteGreat team, great ads. I have to say I was never feeling their actual products, though.
ReplyDeleteSo many good ones over the years! Keenan ones always stood out to me. And Carroll and early Guy.
ReplyDeleteDig the fs pointer grind by Colin.
all the Milton and Gonzales ones are straight gold. And Howard's gap to lipslide...gnar!
ReplyDeleteKeenan's landing style. So god damn smooth.
ReplyDeletetoo busy.
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic! It's near unbelievable how many ads you managed to pull out. Thanks again, Chops!
ReplyDeleteFourstar Reynolds is one of my favorite Reynolds. And Koston's nollie noseblunt is one of those too-perfect tricks, that shoulda stopped being done then-and-there. Each photo is so darn good.
It definitely says something that they've been able to maintain such consistency and loyalty among the team for so long.
Where is the footage of Guy's switch crooks and switch tre?
ReplyDeleteThe footy monster ate it.
ReplyDeleteKinda bugged me that they never subtitled the tricks-usually they were easy to pick, but others not so much.
ReplyDeletesaw someone say something on QS about gonz being off the team and checked the site and don't see him listed. when did that happen? does he just ride for addidas clothing now?
ReplyDeleteI miss the long-haired Mariano. While I get hyped that he's back and charging so hard and putting out pretty good parts, there's something so sick about the Mouse-era Mariano.
