That's a pic of Julien and Jason Lee? If so, not sure why the pic is titled style+copy. They have 2 distinct styles, both amazing, I don't think he's biting Julien's style.
That back lip cover is amazing. I'd love to have a print of the original photo.
And sick duo interview. I'd like to see the rest of the Thomas Morgan one.
yeah keith, i gotta change that when i get home. it was just supposed to be called "style" but saving itin photoshop and me not paying attention added the "copy" part. no disrespect to either of those dudes as they're two in my all time top ten, for sure.
He did good pressure flips. I will let that hang cause really, it is an oxymoron, but when you see someone do them over 5 gallon paint buckets, downhill, at speed, well... credit where credit is due And all the other sweetness. B/s ollies, say no more
The essence of S.F. Street skating and all of skateboarding for that manner. Dude deserves to be on dlx's payroll until the end of time. Diamonds are forever.
But can he hang in the street league?
ReplyDeleteLoved his part in underworld element vid... I saw the other day he's got one of his old SMA boards up for sale on ebay... mint syringe...
ReplyDeletei have always been a fan of this guy. a true "road dog" nothing flashy. just true skateboarding.
ReplyDeleteThat footy compilation was really fun to watch! So much stoke! Thanks for the post chops
ReplyDeleteWhat's the deal with the 101 shirt in the f/s flip pic from Big Brother? A joke for the mag or something? Would it have been before he rode for Real?
ReplyDeletethanks guys.
ReplyDeleteLevon, I just took it as julien giving props to his old friend, natas. nothing major.
that's my take anyway.
Makes sense. The idea that he almost rode for 101 was just bouncing around my head for a minute. Great post.
ReplyDeleteThe best. Love that frontside flip flick.
ReplyDeleteThe best of the best. I remember just starring at that back lip Thrasher cover. The best style ever.
ReplyDeleteBest intervew questions in the history of interview questions...
ReplyDeleteSwitch flip at Burnside, so raw
ReplyDeleteHe did skate with Natas a lot back then so it makes sense.
ReplyDeleteThat Thrasher cover hung on my bedroom wall for years. Thanks for reminding me.
ReplyDeleteIm skating those half cabs he's wearing in the Thrasher cover. So hyped!
ReplyDeletelol Board for Barney's
