I've had so many requests for this dude over the last week that I was honestly beginning to worry that something had happened to him.

Where innovation meets perspiration...

Easily one of the most underrated rippers in the history of this whole shit, Gershon Mosley. Respect.

    So sad to not have seen more from this guy over the last few (ten) years. His The Reason part was easily one of the most replayed during my youth. What are the odds on a Mariano style comeback?

    Saw him do a demo back in the mid 90s in Australia, seriously skated for about 4 hours non stop, the rain didn't even stop him...

    Used to see him at this park in Reno a lot around '95. Forget the park name, Duffy had a few tricks there in The Revolution. Dude was a machine. Super consistent. Super intimidating.

    Definitely one of the most underrated for sure. Seemed like he got the boot from Blind and Globe around the same time and has been in the doldrums since, shame as he's great to watch. Switch feebles on legit rails in 99? Can't front on that.

    What was the tale about him sparking out Reynolds at a trade show or contest? I think Baker made a board graphic about it?

    Yeah. Sucks to see this guy not get his due but maybe he fronted one too many times?
    Dude did just as much for switch as many others and did it with style. Back then nobody had real style other than Salman. Probably also made some bad sponsor choices and switched too much back in the day. Sad to see.

    Jon Comer told me that whenever he was at Tampa he was still skating long after everyone quit. Last guy standing every session. Saw an A-Team demo and he destroyed the mini ramp like no one I've ever seen.

    I was at a trade show when Danny Way walked up and called Gershon the best street skater out there. He is still in the streets killing it. Every once in a while he'll show up at a big event and just rip. Underground ripper!

    I am known as the white gershon in the heat of the summer. It sucks being that sweaty. I always loved this guys suburban dinners part from powell also. Good post chops. Needs a Krooked guest board!

    Great post chops. I'm all about the 6 ft sweat slide in Troops of Tomorrow. Seriously kept with the program and upped his game over and above the competition at every turn. Mad respect for Gersh.

    i just read that story about the reynolds beef. man, i hated that 'pissdrunk' scene back then. i had a similar altercation one night outside of a bar in hollywood with one of those douche bags: shane heyl. this was like 10 years ago. he was outside talking to one of my roomates while the bar was closing up and i walked up to them. he was telling him about some after hours party and i was like oh cool 'where's the party at'... being friendly. immediately he gets in face and says 'its at your mom's house!' acting all crazy. i'm like wtf?! but at this point i think he's just being wierd and joking around so i laugh and say 'haha.. dude chill out. no really, where's the party at?'. then he fucking pushes me with both hands, like hard, and shouts 'at your mom's house!'. i couldnt believe it... i'm like wtf is this guy thinking?! i'm not the most intimidating dude ever but im a lot bigger than shane and he doesn't know if i'm a big pussy or some kind of chuck norris ya know? so i immediately pushed him right back and he stumbles backwards and trips and falls on a curb. then he gets up and starts charging me. without even thinking, as he gets near, i just punched him right in the face... i mean floored him. he ran right into it. both his two front teeth get knocked out and he just falls on the street. i remember feeling really bad about it pretty much right afterwards but the dude instigated the whole thing. his whole crew flipped out, i think they were all pretty wasted, and got the fuck out of there. i remember elissa steamer pulling up in some suv like 5mins later and a few people scooping shane up into the car. i still have a scar on the knuckle of my middle finger... i guess from his tooth.

    My friend James that i used to skate with was obsessed with trying to imitate Gershon's style... I remember the A team being such a big force in that era of skating... it's almost like it didn't happen now though.

    I remember this dude being the sweatiest and steeziest guy in the biz way back in the day. Seriously though- would not want to be the filmer for Gershon. Dude sweats buckets, but he also was truly amazing. did he fall off? where is he now?

    Never too late for Gershon...I still remember his Transworld interview, it was quite good. He does a switch nosegrind on a flatbar that was very sick by today's terms, let alone then. Thanks.
