Wore one out then bought another. Would have bought a third if I could have found another. Man, I loved that board...

Also, the year that Thrasher cover came out (89?) I was at art school in Phoenix, and the photo looked so much like me that I took it into class and showed my instructor, telling her I was on the cover, and could I get extra credit, lol. She bought it and I got credit (why, I have no clue), what a knob....David Wagnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07594244647778062784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7969196656166890081.post-78550735075151722452009-12-08T09:23:09.399-08:002009-12-08T09:23:09.399-08:00That Monkey board was epic! I skated with him outside, and talked to him a little bit (I was an idiot kid trying to play it cool, but inside I was thinking, "He talked to me!"). A lot of guys who were good, like the Atlanta guys or Markovich, sort of had a too-cool-for-everything vibe. Montesi just seemed like a nice, decent guy. I've met shop-sponsored guys with bigger atittudes.Henryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07102150113721711187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7969196656166890081.post-54422193725504673952009-12-07T22:04:31.362-08:002009-12-07T22:04:31.362-08:00sick Knigge interview
