Skateboarding died again and there was a flood at the Death Box warehouse. Death Box/ bash regrouped as FLIP with DEACON and FOX in charge. it still had a mainly vert based Euro team at this time Alex Moul was the main street skater. Flip did OK but needed to go to the USA to make it big so part funded by Per Welinder/Hawk (Birdhouse Project) they brought as many of the team as they could some pros stayed in europe some went and didbn't stay (Andy Scott) and some AMs turned pro when thwy got to the USA most notibly Geoff Rowley.

But the reason I read this article is I have a Bustin Justin Girard Alva sticker and he never mentions being on ALVA anybody know that story ?Cycle2Workerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16906114548391938035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7969196656166890081.post-51335165319103992522012-04-09T12:41:25.130-07:002012-04-09T12:41:25.130-07:00Brand X > Dethbox/Bash > Flip...Loosely.

I remember it well because it was right when Plan B was created and the first ad was out but the 2nd one with the actual team was not. Everyone in SF knew the team already.
