chrome ball incident #713: footprints

"I was a stupid kid that let his head get gassed up."

Back to normal... this time we have 90's super am-turned-notorious "where are they now?" cat, Joey Bast.

styles for miles.

...pop-shuvs nice enough to make onlookers damn near shit their pants. Chill out, kid.

forgot about Phat Klown. Wasn't that Hensley and Ken Park?

thanks for all the support out there.

Spent a few years in Denver as a teenager when Joey was hitting his straps in the early 90s. Kid had bloody good tranny skills also, use to dominate the Jamaica Jims park. Still hard to believe his pro career didn't go further... another Denver local who ripped pretty hard was Jesse McMillan, ended up doing graphics for Mad Circle, had one or two tricks in a couple of FTC vids....

Always liked his style. That white board nolle fs nose at black rock is a great looking shot. The white board, white shoes, white sox, the angle and everything else...

Phat Klown! I think that was Hensley... that's a long time ago. Pretty small company as well. Don't think I saw any of their stuff in person.

I'd be curious to hear about what's going on with him and golfing the past little while.

Definitely one the most stylish, ahead of their time skaters ever. One of the best.

Funny, I was only thinking about this guy a few days ago, shame he wasn't around longer - thanks for posting Chops!

Style king, so good. The nollie 180 fakie 5-0 (or whatever you call it), I tried this trick for months after seeing this photo, obviously never got anywhere close.

great post.
