chrome ball incident #707: real tomato ketchup

for the older heads...

quick update featuring late '80s/early '90s Ohio street ripper, Mark Heintzman.

always dug this dude back in the day... though why he never joined the Workshop is still beyond my comprehension.

still, that hydrant ollie is aces. 1990.

the heintzman shuffle, the double vision, the new deal siamese... i forgot all about that symmetrical graphic craze back then. ancient history, i guess.

big up to clyde singleton.

Always good to see some Heintzman.

I remember reading somewhere that the reason he didn't get on Alien at the beginning was because they didn't have the money since the company was just starting.

That era G&S was no joke. The boards had monster sized noses for the day with real (nearly too much for me) kick. The team was on point too with Heintzman, Willie Santos, Kris Markovich and some other heads like Shannon May.

I still sit through Winona Riders once in awhile. Still good to me.

Heck yes chops. Gonna have to bust out Winona riders. Marcovich had instant hero status in my book after that vid dropped. Pretty sure I ran out and found a wooden beaded necklace and the markovich dog mapper board.

Dude definitely had some pop. I always thought he had weird hands/arms and made odd faces in photos.

Had two of his boards. The most insane double kick and that C90 concave was like standing on a little bathtub... so sick.

Must have been 1990. My friends got to go to the NSA contest at the Blaisdel arena in honolulu. My friends caught up with Heinzman and Hensley as they attempted to escape on a vespa after the contest. My freinds begged their boards from them. I ended up buying Heinzmans fingerprint board from my friend for $40. Oh the magic of riding an actual board from a pro when you are 14 years old! These were the golden days!

Oh, man. I had that dumpster noseslide pic hanging on my wall for years! Everything about that picture is perfect!
