chrome ball incident #535: no questions please

el toro enters the ring... heath's legendary '99 pro spotlight.

jump ramps, cornfields, bus stops, and thousand dollar armani suits...

the type of thing that is so different from what everybody else* is doing at the time that it almost seems like its from outer space.

i remember when the video part came out, it was quite the divisive headscratcher... now its essentially a no-brainer. insane.

*with the exception of jeremy klein, who equally killed it in that part

I hated that part the first time I saw it. I really did. Now, it's easily the Heath part I've watched the most.

Yeah that part had a big budget(for those days)!
And the new one with the Joy Division song, the chronligical footage and the fuck you finger at the end of that speedy line just says it all. Got a lump in my throat afeer watching that part. Now he is taking the ecofriendly bicycle accross the USA, here is the blog where you can follow him doing it. http://werereallydoingit.com/

I'm still backing whatever Heath does, he's more than paid his dues in skateboarding

I think the bike across America thing is kinda nuts for someone who's not really experienced.

Is that lipslide really the first thing to ever go down on El Toro?

Is it me or are a lot of those photos out of focus/hard on the eyes? Same with the black text on grey.

Stoked on Heath for sure. Psyched on the high speed line in Stay Gold.

I remember there was a sequence of Heath doing a padless McTwist on a legit vert ramp from the same era...late 90's early 2000's...I think it was in Transworld, and I'm pretty sure it was one of their awards issues, like Kirchart won best video part for the End or something, or best street I'm not sure. Anyway, just wondering if you have it...

Keith. Nuts or just plain fun times with friends?
And for the gas prices in the USA, what's up?
I could ride forever for a couple of bucks when I was in Austin. Come to Sweden and compare prices.
Cheap gas in the us, crazy expensive in sweden. But I really am not the one to talk since I nver owned a car in my life.
And Jeremy Klein got styles til infinity, a shame that he doesn't skate that much anymore (in clips/pics).
Heath Kirchart, I will miss you!

Nuts as in no training, just deciding to do it, spur of the moment type thing. Or maybe he did train and has planned it for a long time.
