Only canadian SOTY. Funny ass dude. Good style. Mint dude. Hall of famer.
Pommier spoke some of the truest words in that Check Out; some things just pan out, I guess. Stoked for Appleyard. Honestly, it took a long time, but he grew on me and I hope he doesn't fade away on element or something like that..Mahalo nui loa, Chops.
Love the blog. Do you have anything on Josh Beagle? What happened to that guy?
Mr Appleyard skated on an Elementboard at some contest a while back if my memory is intact. Flip needs to take it easy with the kids allready. If Mark is off I can't see myself stoked out on anyone over there anymore (Langi perhaps). Ali Boulala forever, but that's my childhood homie. Stockholm Sweden represent! Get that surgery dun, and let's skate flatground like we used to.
Applebutters post, Hell Yeah! This reminds me of a trip to Toronto when I first read Canada's skate mag SBC Skateboarding.Him and Crankers were all of the place...
Pommier's write up was bang on.Mislabelled caballerial over the rail.I can't help but be psyched on Appleyard. Got support the impactful Canadians. Never met him... only time I've seen him was at Slam City Jam. He was creeping on Asian girls.Surprisingly, there's quite a bit of apple hate on a certain online forum... referring to him as a "bro" and a jock. I don't really see where that comes from.
Keith,The fourum I'm guessing you are refering to is out of control. People need to just relax and go out and skate anyways. If you got Appleyardskills, maybe you could start with the jock talk, but I'guessing most of the people posting over there got nothingt exept opinions about everything possible.Haters need to get a dayjob.
THE BEST FLICK EVER PERIOD...! the dude has it so natural hoody half way off nollie flip back fiftys. reminds me of a old friend i had who quit so sick watching him skate oh well thanks for the post.
I had everyone of those Habitat Ads on my wall....Plus the Switch F/S Heel in New York
Apples is a super talented and legendary type of guy, but all the talk he does of not really wanting to try that hard anymore and rest on his laurels gets a bit old after a while. He's too damned young to be that jaded, in my opinion.Anyone know where his next board sponsor is going to be, after the split w/ Flip?
* I meant to say Switch F/S Heel in Philly...Woops
This is one of the best skating/song combos of all time. It's up there for sure. Not to mention one of those parts that is not heavy on the lines, but it still enjoyable. That's a hard one to pull off, yet he's just got a great style and makes that kind of skating look excellent. side question: German Nieves post planned?
He must have been stoked to be on Birdhouse and Darkstar at the same time.
thanks guys. anon1, working on it. always working on it. Sammy, I feel you. But his skating his skating is amazing and I had a few requests. haha smorales.yeah, with the exception of habitat and thunder, I pretty much loathe every sponsor he's ever had... past and present.
Apples put so much top shelf stuff out so fast, he almost spoiled us...then it seems like he ripped the table cloth off and said "No More for you!" LOL.As much as I LOVE what Steve does with the Berrics, a "First Try Fridays" is cool but not the only thing Apples might want to be banging out on...the love is still there regardless...
the fact you titled this "double primo" just made my fucking day. my face literally light up with a smile just now. mark appleyard is too good and so is this blog.
