I don't think I ever payed attention to any of those phony guys. I knew about Jean Michelle and Justin Lovely though.

I just saw noticed Larry Perkins for the first time over at Boil the Ocean a few weeks ago. Who is that anyway?

What's wrong with Aaron Snyder? That dudes got some serious tech skills.

Still no Vic Novettipolae?

And by "tech skills", he means "photoshop".

That dude was good but getting busted with that very common mistake basically ended it for him.

Chops, looks like aaron's luck ran out long ago.

Love the April Fool's post.

Did Vic have a shoe on Airwalk?

Keith, the Snyder comment was kind of a preemptive strike as his name always gets brought up in these type discussions. He did kinda get screwed for something that many have done in the past.

Austin, you're killing me with the deleting and retyping comments man.

Anon2, I remember Vic and his shoe... but don't really remember who Vic actually was?

Thanks guys.

Nice. I remember Thrasher doin a McSqueeb tshirt. The Airwalk VIC guy was called Sin Legegia (spelling?), he was team manager at the time I think. Funny how this theme has reappeared over the years often at a time when skaters need to take a look at themselves. Oh yeah, nearly forgot' what about Kent Watson?

Here's the link to the VIC/Sin Egelja (r.i.p.) Airwalk story on page 4. It's worth a complete read if you have the time. They took the Victor Novettipolae joke as far as giving him an actual pro deck.

Have you guy's seen the Nike SB dunk low they made called the chirping bird? it's inspired by Larry Perkins. theres a little thing in the tongue of the shoe that rings like a phone whenever you push it. ha ha ha
