chrome ball incident #448: run come ya

"The worst scene is a whole bunch of skaters sitting around." -Cards

Inspired after rewatching John's Epicly Later'ds the other day with the Mrs... somethings just go beyond skateboarding. Utmost Respect.

Stoked on this, too.

Super-Cardiel-Mega-Gnag-Gnar-Hype!

Thanks for the refreshing of the memories ... dude owned his style like none other.

Nice, Chops. Can never have enough Cardiel. If the world had half the heart he does, it would be a much better place.

Like someone in that Epicly ep said, if there was one person I could skate like, it would be Cardiel. Straight up heart, balls to the wall with total commitment, make or die.

PS to all: that Epicly Cardiel ep is available on Netflix now.

PPS: I hope Guzman gets some play on the CB at some point (hint, hint!)

That guy is one of a kind. It's a cliche, but there will never be another John Cardiel.

just so everyone knows, in case you didn't already, the Stayin' Alive is what today is called a Benihana. It's a trick tip down the Embarcadero seven, in a 1992 Thrasher with the Chet Thomas "shifty" cover.

Was on the fence yesterday after work about skating...clicked chromeball and saw the frontside corner air and immediately shut down and went skating. Thanks Cards and Chops!
