Oh snap. Thanks Chops. I think I asked you for a Moses post about a year ago. He was hated on by many but I was always a fan.

i always thought he had a sick 411 profile back in the day, where he skated to mobb deep, being interviewed while walking through some hall and down a staircase.
def caught the sheen off his hair dew back then too. ha. dope though.

That switch backtail is it. So good. One of the few that can skate vert and street and look proper doing both. That tail grab 540 is bonkers.

I couldn't get into Moses at all. You would read about him, see the footage like the 411 clip and be left wondering what the fuss was about. I will say that my opinion of him changed for the better with the Mad Circle video because he killed it.

Funniest thing I saw at Slam City Jam, Moses lacross stick throwing RD shirts into the crowd.. A guy I know catches one.... and throws it back and hits Mo in the face with it! HAHAHAHAa. Moses LOOSES IT! runs up into the crowd! punches some 16 year old kid (that didn't do it) in the face..... then Moses gets banned. I think the kid charged him too. Moses is a scary dude.
Dude has the skills ...... but what a dick! Screaming your head off at a little kids in the park?

Man I gotta say I liked this dude, Transworld The Reason part with Machnau, Mcrank and Colin. He does some cool transition shit and some nice shit on all the famous ledge spots in Canada. Loved his Red Dragons part too. Good photos.

I find it ironic how most of the RD guys in the early 90's started out as scrawny little skate kids that hated jocks and by the late 90's, they were essentially skate jocks. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

For a lot of years, Moses had something special going on with his skating. He wallowed away as a Real am for far too long imo. I think he peaked around when he was on MC. Best fs nose slides in the business. sw bs 5-0's on point. Dude was always super consistent. Skating is really crisp, if that makes any sense. I will say that he can be intimidating.

There was that incident around 1997 where he got punched out, hit his head on the ground and was bleeding from his ears. Some kid ended up giving him CPR (or maybe something else) to save his life. I ended up randomly meeting that guy (named Manny) at a friends house. Pretty messed up story. I think after that, at every contest he entered, he wore a helmet... something to do with another blow to the head increased his chances greatly of becoming a vegetable.

Moses! We had a "best front nose ever" discussion the other night and we came up with Moses.

^ he rode for Skull Skates in Canada for a while. Then he retired (there was an article about it in one of the Canadian mags a while ago). He does someting with Centre Distribution now. Not certain if he's the owner or what.
