Dude can go super big and make it look easy. Cool to see that old Plan B ad with him. Which reminded me, what happened to Brian Emmers?
Ripper full stop.
What about Pat Channita? Wasn't he doing really well on the contest circuit for Powell like a decade ago??
He's definitely done well for himself. He's an ATV for sure. Dude can skate just about anything super good. Couldn't be happier for him and he's got Canadian pride.fwiw we both grew up skating in Ottawa in separate crews. There were basically 3 shops in town around 92/93... EQ (skate/snow), Surfside (skate/snow/ski/wind) and Skatecity (skate). My crew was with the former shop, his with the latter. Pretty much everyone in my crew gave him a hard time back in the day (to varying degrees). I'd like to think I wasn't too harsh to him but it's easy to forget now how big of an asshole you were when you were a teenager. Several of my friends were serious vibers (is that even a word?). I've seen him many times over the years since (as we both live in Van now) and he's totally the nicest guy you'll ever meet.
Here's an old clip of Rick, my friends Damien and Trevor and I have 3 or 4 tricks.
