chrome ball incident #276: trampled under foot

went with some early joints from one of skateboarding's most influential who's seemingly more known for his sponsor-hopping than the amazing video parts he's been putting out for the better part of the last two decades.

i always thought this one (4:13) was kinda slept-on.

...still don't know what's up with those beads though.

There's so much Markovich stuff out right now. There's this commentary thing at slap and this
day in the life video at tws.

His Stun part is nowhere to be found.

I love that Element part. I'm all about Winona Riders and Stun.

One of my all time favourite skaters ever - speed, strength power, skates like a man should. Inspiring.

Jamie T. filming him on the frontboard pic.

Thanks chops for another great post! Markovich is in my top 5 for sure. He wasn't the most stylish skater but, he was one of the rawest dudes out bitd. That vans ad made my week, thanks again man.

really feeling all this markovich coverage as of late... super good.

i couldn't find stun anywhere... and didn't post up his 101 part just cause I figured I've probably posted it just about every time before. still classic though.

yeah, royce... jamie t with the laser popping out of that camera trying to steal kris's career. kinda torn on a potential jt post... so many good flicks over the years (plenty of sturt which never hurts) and i truly think his heart is in the right place (most of the time)... but damn, dude can be straight-up embarrassing sometimes. Is JT still a big internet no-no? I've kinda fallen behind on my message board politics. curious.

thanks Des and everyone for the comments.

I back Jamie 100%. If one were to go strictly on skating, who couldn't. I respect what he has done for skateboarding off the board as well. Can't please everyone, and if your getting some flack, then in most cases your doing something right.

Jealousy breeds envy, and allot of the industry is green. Not even going touch on messageboard complexes.

Run some JT sturt.

I'm with Chopps. We all agree JT is/was a great skater, did some shit in his day. But I don't think he's really chrome ball material personally

I could agree with the CB formula to an extent, but, every so often Chops throws a "black sheep" classic out there that doesn't completely fit the equation.

That is one of the many reasons CB is great.

thanks for the input guys.

julianjason, already used it. #105

and sprntral and royce, you're both right. jt isn't really a personal fave of mine (no disrepect)... but dude has more than enough proper flicks and i do like to throw some curve balls out there every now and then...

was actually kind of toying with the notion of a "black sheep week" just to see the reaction... but i think that may be going a bit too far.
